COBB Tuning - Lightweight Flywheel.


Lighter flywheels help contribute to a faster revving and more responsive engine. Improved acceleration and ease of rev-matching will be the largest benefits felt by installing a lightweight flywheel. Also, less stress is placed on the drivetrain during shifting. For maximum durability, Cobb utilizes a one piece flywheel constructed from high-quality Chromoly Steel instead of multi-piece units made from other materials. The flywheel weighs 13.5lbs, with much of the weight being removed from the outer diameter to reduce rotating inertia.
